DHCP Server Scanner
A cross-platform DHCP client implementation that scans your local network for (rogue) DHCP servers. Useful for network diagnostics, security audits, and finding unauthorised DHCP servers that could hand out leases on a network they do not own.
I wrote it in C back in 2012. In 2014 some engineers from Alcatel-Lucent got in touch to ask whether they could use it in a commercial product — a small thing, but I am still proud of it. I keep it maintained: bug fixes, unit tests, macOS support, and a draft of *BSD support (untested — I have no BSD machine at hand).
